Aurélie Duron Harmand

Aurélie DURON HARMAND has expertise in intellectual property law and GDPR, with a particular focus on intellectual property and digital litigation.

Thanks to her in-depth knowledge of intellectual property, digital, and media issues, she is able to offer solutions tailored to the specific needs of each client.

Aurélie DURON HARMAND has been a member of the Paris Bar since 2019. Her professional background includes a variety of experiences in law firms, as well as with a leading French e-commerce company in the mobility sector and with Chamber 5-2 of the Paris Court of Appeal, which specializes in intellectual property.

She joined AGN AVOCATS in January 2024 to provide her clients with comprehensive support on all legal issues related to the life of start-ups and companies.

She has had the opportunity to practice in law firms of various sizes, from international firms to smaller, more intimate practices. These different structures have allowed her to work with all types of clients, from individuals to sole proprietors, start-ups to publicly traded companies. These diverse experiences have strengthened her adaptability, curiosity, and responsiveness. 

She is also involved in the Barreau des Arts, a non-profit association whose purpose is to provide legal advice on copyright law to authors and performers in precarious situations. This association works in partnership with the Barreau de Paris Solidarité. 

Finally, she teaches industrial property in the Master 2 “Innovation Marketing” program at Paris Saclay University. 

Her main areas of expertise are: 

• Intellectual property: Intellectual property rights audits, copyright assignment or licensing agreements, trademark and design registration in France, Europe, and internationally, drafting and negotiating trademark and design assignment or licensing agreements, trademark opposition before French and European offices 

• GDPR: Auditing and compliance, external DPO 

• IT: Negotiation and drafting of IT contracts such as on-premise, SaaS software, etc. 

• Media: Defamation, libel, right of reply, issues relating to e-reputation
